Hungary Starts

some photos of our trip to the lovely Kecskemet studios , the last studio to join the production, after almost two years of planning! Darko, Ferencs , Vera, Edit and everyone there made us very welcome and the work we've seen so far has been great. Its a beautiful studio, founded in 1971 , and I have been a big fan of their beautiful series Hungarian Folktales for a long long time. They certainly have a great sense of style. That big Barrel thing in front of the studio is a Zoetrope that when you spin it you see some animation! Fabian will live and work there as animation supervisor from Cartoon Saloon until the end of the production ... but I'll be coming up with reasons to visit him as often as possible! I found some interesting culinary delights for the vegetarian in Hungary..Fruit soup, poppy seeds on pasta and so on... very interesting! And even learned a few words of Magyarul surely the coolest sounding language ever.
