Looks like we are having a few screenings in festivals down under.
I know there are advanced talks with a distributor down there under way also.

  2. I saw this yesterday at the Melbourne International Film Festival. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of animation art I have ever seen. I cried at the end - I was so overwhelmed. (an interesting look when in a cinema full of children:) ) I loved the fantasy, the Celtic Lore, the Book of Kells info. Even the cover of the book when stolen by the vikings was like what they think it was. The book was a bit smaller in size - but hey it's an animation. A spooky aside is that the name "Kells" although it is in the name of several places in Ireland has traces in Italy, France and Belgium before going to Ireland how appropriate that the film should too.
I hope the film will be available to purchase on DVD in Australia I'll be in the queue.

Congratulations to all involved with "Brendan and the Secret of Kells"
