Well last year was pretty amazing and I'd thought this year things were gonna quiet down and go back to normality for a while.
Then this invite arrives .

You never you where you'll end up when you start making cartoons.

  2. That's terrific, Tomm! What an honor!

By the by, many a friend or family member has, within the past several months, told me how they discovered Secret of Kells and how much they dearly love it :)

  9. NO WAY!!!! That's amazing! Congrats! :D

By the way, my art history professor's showing the movie to introduce the insular art unit, haha. And my church pastor chose it for this week's movie night after we showed it to her!

  11. I watched this film a couple of days ago, and I was absolutly blown away. It has become in one of my favorite films ever. Thank you so much Tomm for this masterpiece.

By the way, I love that Aisling looks a lot like one of my favorite actresses, Evanna Lynch, which mentioned the film at the IFTA this year.

  12. Tomm, I have seen the film a few times now, but mostly I can't stop thinking about the art work. I love the intricacy of it, the way it is delicate and precise but organic and messy. I want to draw like that! Where did you get the inspiration? Where did you start with that style? Thanks for your beautiful art.
