Hollywood Screening

By all accounts the screening in Hollywood on the 9th went really well.
Thanks to animation critic Charles Solomon for the feedback, he gave us this link to a NPR podcast

I love NPR and its very flattering to have our film talked about
by someone as distinguished as Charles Solomon on one of
the best public radio stations in the world.

And Pam Koller, sent me this message -

My friend Ramsey Avery a former Imagineer at Disney and world wide theme park designer and innovator said this about the screening today, "Just saw The Secret of the Kells. Unbelievably beautiful, audacious, and compelling. If you care one iota for design or world building -- and how they make a well-told story soar -- there has been nothing better in years."

  1. I wish I could have made it out to the Hollywood screening. Hopefully you received more exposure for Kells.

  2. My wife and I were at the screening, and it was excellent! She studies animation (would love to be an Imagineer someday), and I got my undergrad degree in Religious Studies and have a particular interest in illuminated manuscripts and Celtic traditions. The movie met all of our interests and represented all of these traditions well. Well done! And I hope to see it on DVD/Blu-Ray in the States soon!!
