nice photos
adrien took some nice photos of me, paul, nora and ross in our snazzy meeting room downstairs in the production office. I love the projector yokey for checking bgs and stuff on.
We had some images from the viking attack in the background, I guess they are a bit dark.
thats me in the stripey top.

OH Boyohboyohboyohboyohboy.
ReplyDeleteLots of new stuff to see. Any chance a trailer will be coming anytime soon?
CANNOT wait for this!! It looks so great!
ReplyDeleteYou guys should release some official wallpapers or some awesome art that maybe has a little logo at the bottom, cause I love the art, but the watermark kinda takes away from it.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the snowflakes in the last image! That is an amazingly neat idea, whoever came up with making them into those patterns simply rocks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting all of this stuff after such a long dry spell. The background art in this film looks amazing and some of the character animation looks very well-done as well. I'm still a bit worried about the style on the characters, to tell the truth - sometimes it looks wonderful and other times it reminds me too much of some tv shows. Such a style can work very well, as Richard Williams showed, but Richard Williams also worked at 24fps so his animation looked very smooth, which I doubt is being done in this film.
Anyway, I'll judge when I see the finished film - the writing, directing and music are other very important factors, and we readers of this blog haven't seen/heard any of those yet. Keep up the good work, and do release a trailer one of these days. :)
By the way, just a question: did you succeed in keeping the "roughness of their line" for the Vikings, as you said you'd try to do in the entry below?

I was looking forward to seeing how you'd do that, as I really liked those sketches of them that you posted.
Awesome photos and artworks! I especially love the group photo with the characters merged among them. Can't wait for this cartoon to come out.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see so many updates! Thanks for posting all that great artwork. So beautiful. The pictures are great too. Fun to put faces with names.
ReplyDeleteThanks again.
Dennis
